The Cote family and their crew did a great job on my mini split system and some repairs. Communication is great and they show up when promised. Neat work with no mess. The hard part of getting a mini split price is the equipment used and the routing of the lines varies significantly . I have seen installations where it looks like an octopus is on the house and there are huge coils of lines behind the condenser. Cote construction took the hard route and routed the lines inside the house out of sight wherever possible even when it was extremely challenging to do. The pictures speak for themselves. I agreed on a routing that would have been much more visible and easier and they changed it on the day of installation to be much cleaner. ~ John G
During the February 2026 snowstorm, we experienced ice dams that caused water intrusion into our first-floor ceiling and basement, and several restoration companies proposed extensive and very costly repairs. JB Cote took a far more thoughtful and conservative approach, opening walls and ceilings section by section to confirm the presence of damage before proceeding. The actual damage proved to be much more limited than initially suggested, and the repairs were completed at a fraction of the earlier estimates. Their crew was professional, skilled, and meticulous with daily clean-up, and management was honest, straightforward, and never upsold us. Working with them felt like having a trusted family member in the general contracting business. We plan to use them for a much more substantial construction project on our property in the near future -- an ADU. Highly recommended. ~ Matthew B
J B Cote did a fabulous job on our in-law addition. Brian and his team were very professional and always answered all our questions and concerns. Brian was always quick to respond to phone calls that we made and answered all questions we may have had regardless how small they may have seemed. He stayed on his time line and completed the project on schedule. We have received multiple compliments on how beautiful and how great the addition looks. They are an excellent company to work with and their end result is phenomenal. I will always contact them with any future projects and have recommended them to many friends.
